Field Outdoor Spaces creates, revitalizes and maintains landscapes that enhance the everyday life of our clients. Our commitment to our clients is to set accurate expectations, be knowledgeable and conscientious in our actions, and prompt and responsive in our communication. The whys and wherefores:
"Field Outdoor Spaces creates, revitalizes and maintains landscapes that enhance the everyday life of our clients." We believe landscapes are necessary to well-being. We want to work with landscapes that are meaningful to our clients: the company garden that gives employees a reprieve from the workday, the urban space that greets the homeowner with color and the buzz of a bee, the naturalized lakeshore that bridges nature with our home domain.

We want to raise expectations people have of companies in the construction trades. The principals are educated in horticulture and design and continue to educate themselves in the field as well as offering employees educational opportunities. We want clients to feel comfortable and in-the-loop during the whole process, and giddy with excitement about the end-product. We are conscious of the consequences of all our work: the tools we use, the options and alternatives to try, the chemicals we apply and the environment around us. Field maintains certifications and membership in prominent landscape business associations; we feel this is an important step towards the betterment of the industry. We develop and review all our practices for worker safety, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and environmental safety.

For as long as they are with us, we want to promote their skills, energies and capabilities. Above all we want to transmit our passion for landscaping and gardening to our employees. We do not believe in a traditional hierarchical system, instead we want to develop a team-based system with important decisions made within the team. We encourage an environment of engaged work, good conversation and sense of humor.
